Brahmavar is a town near to Udupi, known for its historical significance. River Suvarna and Sita flows around Brahmavar . These rivers actually originate from western ghats and form backwaters near Brahmavar before joining Arabian Sea. Mahalineshwara Temple at Brahmavar is one of the ancient hindu temples of karnataka.
